A Microsoft Project file viewer for Windows. It shows the Gantt chart with the critical path, resource usage and calendars, prints them and saves them to PDF — and it needs neither Project nor Java installed. It only reads your files, never changes them.

Everything you need to read from a schedule

The program exists so that anyone can open a schedule — on site, in the office or at a client, without a Project licence.

Gantt chart

Bars with progress, summaries, milestones, split tasks and FS/SS/FF/SF links. Critical path in red, baseline, deadlines, float, the today line and the status date.

Colours showing who does what

Bars can be coloured by resource, outline level, task type or any custom field from the file — so you see at a glance where each subcontractor works. The legend is drawn below the chart and goes into PDF and print too; critical tasks keep their red outline.

The table your way

Over fifty columns grouped by category, plus the custom fields from your own file (Text1, Number1, Outline Code…). The program remembers your choice of columns, their order, widths and sorting.

Search and filters

Quick filters for critical, delayed or in-progress tasks, and an advanced filter by resource, period, percentage complete or text in a column. Filters can be saved under a name.

Resource usage

A resource × week table with work hours or percentage allocation. Overallocation against the calendar capacity is highlighted in red, and you immediately see which task caused it.

Calendars and deadlines

Working week, holidays and exception shifts in a monthly grid; non-working days are drawn accordingly in the chart. Task details show constraints, deadlines, float and every baseline.

Printing and export

Printing with pagination and a repeated header, PDF in A4 and A3, an XLSX workbook with sheets for tasks, resources, assignments and usage, CSV, and the chart or timeline as PNG.

Schedule quality check

Fourteen DCMA-style checks: tasks without links, hard constraints, negative and excessive float, long durations, lags in links or slippage against the status date. Each finding lists the affected tasks and the summary exports to CSV.

Comparing two versions

Open a new revision and pick the older one. The program matches tasks by ID, WBS and name, then shows what was added, removed or renamed, and by how many days the start or finish moved.

Besides the Gantt chart the program offers a timeline for presentations, a resource overview, their usage over time, the project calendars and a schedule quality analysis.

Windows says “Unknown publisher”?

The installer does not have a purchased signing certificate yet, so SmartScreen warns that it does not recognise the publisher — this is not a virus detection. Click More info → Run anyway, or first verify the SHA-256 checksum with certutil -hashfile file.exe SHA256 and compare it with the value listed above.

The program is freeware: free to use and to pass on unchanged, for private and commercial purposes alike. Neither the installer nor the program is signed with a certificate — Windows may therefore show an “Unknown publisher” warning when you download it and when you first run it (the box above explains how to get past it).
